Imoc R/r Day

looked at this today and have had nightmares that my tubby conversion may make my car slower than it started life as a uk GT.

are all these imoc members muppets that mod without making sure their cars are functioning normally in the beginning or have i got cause for concern.

I always felt my n/a was f in quick, it would inhilate civic type r's no prob etc

then i read this, n/a 213 bhp, more than 2 tubbies and only 2 bhp behind three.!!!!

imoc r/r day really quite embarrasing for mr2s

Iv'e had my fair share of arguements with people on there....I'd say something like 5-10 regulars know what there on about....the rest of the make up tend to be followers, they rush out and spend big $$ on silly un-researched mods etc etc

yup, if you have silly £££££

When my car got 191 BHP I raced a 184 bhp NA .. I toasted it ..

All down to the greater torque ..

Posted

And only 235 BHP .. but 284.7 lb/ft of torque ..

It'll accelerate like a beast, but need to change up sooner .. don't look at the BHP .. that's all about what RPM you gan get to .. look at the torque for the "Real" power ..
