Blacktop Engine Oil

im a newbie,what kind of oil would u recommend for blacktop 20v engine ? 0-50w or 10-30w ?

for daily drive and sometimes race on the street :D

I would take a very good oil for a high-power and high-rev engine like the 4A-GE 20V. Min a xW50-oil. I use Castrol RS 10W60 in my cars.

I would definitely agree with XLarge's recommendation of nothing below a 50 weight at the top.... I'm just blown away that you guys can get a 60 weight oil... the only place I know of that sells it would be the local BMW dealer in 5W-60 for the E46 M3 at $9 per quart.... whew...

A 5W60-oil is difficult to find here in Germany, too. But the 10W60 ist OK for me, because I don´t drive my Corolla and my MR2 in winter. Additional I get the Castrol at a very good price of 6 € per litre. Normal shops take 11 € per litre. :o

i,m runing with 5-50w Mobil 1 oil now

when engine is cold,the engine get warm in the second,then engine get realy hoT,but the temperapeture gauge show right in the middle

is this normal ? or i should run with 10-50w oil ?
