Touch up paint

Hi all,

Not a rocket science subject, but I recently looked for some on line and in the local car accessory shops.  Found a variety in the shops from pens to kits from a multitude of paint companies.  Many claiming to be Toyota equivalents ?  None of them had any official Toyota paint codes, Just colour names.  As you all know "white" comes in many shades !  You can find your car colour code on your black label inside one of your front doors.  Mine is right hand drive and was in the near side door.  It's the number after C/TR _ _ _  it's covered on U tube.  There's a multitude of choice on line with the faff of return if its not right.  Average price was around £11:00.  So again I went to my local Toyota main dealer with my paint code and bought the correct Toyota touch up kit of a base and lacquer which was exactly the right colour.  They even gave me a 10% discount when I said I was a member of the Toyota club !  £10:18 including vat was the damage with no faff !  The moral of the story is for me is "ALWAYS check at your main dealer first" before purchasing on line as I believe that they are fighting back on internet parts prices !
