Bought a new RAV4 awi. Has a diagram of the wiring loom// layout been released yet.

Specifically need to add extra volume to indicators, perhaps buzzers attached to the rear indicators.

The volume is too low for my old ears.

Along with the other beeps the level is not adjustable.

All the sounds are electronically generated through the stereo so wiring diagrams will not help have a look at the customization menu if you have a touch screen if not there should be some adjustment via tech stream

The volume is a customisable function of the Meter unit and can be adjusted by your dealer:

Thank you for this information. I asked about increasing the volume, having had the same problem with the Corolla Sports, but was told that it was not adjustable.

My intention is to design and build a PCB that counts the pulses from the indicators. More than, say, 15 pulses then a small buzzer would sound. If brake light is on then the counter is reset.

Surely for the indicators you could pick up the pulses from the fuse. A simple task from an 8 pin PIC and a couple f lines of code.

Yes, that is my intention, if the sound level can't be increased.

Right guys, got new hearing aid, no different due to frequency used by car....LOL

Can anyone identify the part  numbers for the connectors to the rear lighting cluster, mounted in rear compartment, above wheel arches. Pic attached of what I believe are the connectors required.

Toyota did give me this link, which sort of helps. https://www.toyota-tech.eu/Menu/Repair
