front abs sensor

Hi everyone

 

Can anybody help me please.

I require a front off side ABS sensor for my 1995 celica GT4.

This part is no longer availabe and i have had no luck at any of the breakers.

Has anyone had the same problem and how did you get round this.

Any info or ideas would be appreciated.

No one makes the sensors any more, NOS go for £120-160 if not more a piece IF you can find them - all you can do is find the nearest equivalent and modify it to suit

there is a change in August 1995 to the part numbers

St202 with SS or ST205

Upto 8/1995      89542-20100

From 08/1995  89542-20120

we think we have source a sensor, we will have to modify if needed.

rockauto in america still supplies them. be prepared to pay more than 200 quid for them, but its an alternative worth considering, theres talk online about using current, and camry speed sensors as replacements

 

i am currently trying to fix mine and using a camry sensor but not having a lot of luck. will probably be posting here for help soon
