Welcome to TOC

UK spec Supra Gen 4 only comein TwinTurbo format. All others are Jap imports.

I think you'll get a bit more thn 10mpg, but don't expect miracles above 20 - 25 depending on how you drive it......

Don't take a Supra on anything less than FULLY COMPREHENSIVE insurance. These things are monsters and you need full cover in case you have a slip in it.........

That £1800 quote will rocket on fully comp. so maybe you should look at other models like Celicas or MR2's which are a bit better on the insurance.

And you WILL slip in it. Not a car to be taken lightly even by the most experienced of drivers.

hmm..... i have been told about the "dangers" of rear wheel cars..... :arrgg-matey: .... im not too keen on a celica, as they are very common in the area i live in.... as are honda civics/accords and scooooobys.... .... ok, in that case, can anyone recommend a decent turbo car that looks good and performs well too.... is good on insurance, and fair play on fuel?? i have a budget of around 6 - 7k tops for the lot :( which i was gonna spend of a supra

If your a very lucky git like myself then you can pick up a UK twin turbo for £7k  , so within your budget!

UK cars are 326bhp rather than the import 280bhp plus insurance is 1/3rd of the price of an import.

Looks like im going to pay only £700ish full comp for my supra! :D

That £1800 3rd party is a rip off. Try elephant! By the way im 22 with 0ncb and zero convictions.

Im getting about 20mpg out of mine, but i usually drive rather carefully with little or no boost.

If not a MK4 Supra how about a MK3? I think they are a bargain at the moment. £1k will buy you a good Turbo MK3. 230bhp if im not mistaken. Hell of a lot of car for the money.

Welcome to the club by the way

£500 for a shed, £1000 will buy you a mk3 in below average condition with high mileage..budget 2k for a semi decent mk3. £4k will get you one of the best out there.

mk3's are a good buy at the mo... their prices havent dropped in the last 3 years, and are now back on the increase.
