Hands free sound quality

I am having poor sound quality problems whilst using hands free. Callers are telling me that there is a huge amount of background noise. Is anyone else having a similar problem. If so have you found a solution.

that seems odd, I have had very few complaints in fact a few dont realise I am in the car..

I think there are two issues here. The first has to do with the vehicle's poor sound proofing which at higher speeds does result in a lot of background noise - not surprising if it is being picked up by the mic. The  other issue has to do with your seating position: effectively the closer your head is to the mic that picks up your voice (or at least the more you project your voice in the right direction) the better.
