Does anyone know what the thing is that is on passenger's side wing we have just bought a Toyota alphard campervan and don't have a clue what it is TIA

surely it's precisely what you say...an extra mirror.?...quite a few imports have them (though mine doesn't)

Think it is to provide the driver with a view of the curb when parking.

Thanks but not sure as you can't really see anything in it wasn't sure if it's some kind of antenna

I'd check to see if there is any adjustment possible ..either on the unit..or the glass
