Jap Import Parts

I have a Gen6 2.0GT celica imported from Japan.

It needs new shockers at the front but you would not believe the hassle I have had getting these parts. Must have tried 5 different places and only one has come back to me with a quote of £250.

Does anyone know where a good mail order place would be to get these and other parts for imported celicas.

Why not just go to your local Toyota Dealer and get the parts there?

I've got an imported Gen6 as well. Parts should be the same as the UK version. I got KYB ExleG's which can be got from Buypartsby.co.uk a lot cheaper than 250...

Toyota Celica Breakers for 2nd hand parts with warranty for cheap...

I phoned them but they would not deal with me at all when I told them it was an import !!!

Are they exactly the same as the UK Version ?

Strange! They've supplied a lot of people over at www.celica-club.co.uk I got mine elsewhere but there's only one type as far as I know. Pretty sure it's identical to UK spec suspension.

Just checked, the part numbers at Buypartsby are the same as mine and mines a JDM.

i've not used them myself, but a lot of people swear by Fensport - specialist JDM parts dealer.
