I just bought and fitted some Roll centre AND CAMBER adjusters!

I new whiteline made RCA's but i found in america a pair which are made offset to also adjust the camber! Giving it 2 degrees neg camber!

Also at the same time it is widening the track because you are adjusting the camber at the bottom not the top as you do with adjustable top mounts!

Anyway ive been out driving literatly all day (as soon as my hangover had gone!lol) and it has transformed the handling! :D

It turns in very responsively with not even a hint of understeer! I reakon i can add an extra 10-15mph in any corner compared to what it used to be like!

There is a little more oversteer than b4 but like im bothered about that in a AE86! Just plant yourfoot even more and turn that steering wheel the other direction! :D :D :P

Is it a fixed adjustment when you fit these, or can they be 'tuned' to the car/driver ? If they are tunable, how do you go about setting them up.

( if this is a dumb question then please forgive me. I know nothing about Roll and Camber adjusters. Do I have to dye my hair blonde again??)

No not a dumb question at all! But no they are not adjustable they are a fixed 2 degrees! I would show you a piccy of them if i could upload pic's but im having trouble doing so!

Basically they are a shaped block of ally, 30mm deep but with offset bolt holes and dowl's so it allows the strut to be pushed out at the bottom! Bl**dy hard work fitting them due to everything(antiroll bar strut etc) are under more tension!

Makes the car look more mean from the front aswell, due to the neg camber!

Have em on my new cars as well, the steering is wicked, just point her. The wear on the inside of the tyre is unreal though but i think its well worth it

Tell me about it the phrase 'point and squirt' comes to mind!

I havnt had them on there long enough to find the tyre wear but as you said its definatly worth it!

Any piccy's of the new '86 yet mate??? Cant wait to ave a peek!

I have to sort out some pics alright, shes off the road already for the major makeover, stripping it down to the bare Shell, gonna stick in a cage and spot weld it up (saves the shell), still tryin to sort out importing the bodykit and wheels. !Removed! nightmare. Dont need any other mods, she has em all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally different car to my current ae86, the handling everything feels different.

Still love the other car though,

Damn rite i have just order my cage this week from safety devices!

So is this car a import or was this the one off your mate! (i read so mony posts got confused! haha)

Is it still a corolla front or is it like the levin etc with popup lights!

Whats the suspension set up then, highly modded??

And the main question is how can you afford 2 AE86's as you've just finished Uni!!??

I thought you lot were all skint! Or has that student loan come in handy!? LOL
