Hi All,

 I need an advise from you please. I have Toyota Auris 1.6 2008 hatchback and my Heater Control is not going any higher than 2 level, I have taken it to a garage and they said it's the switch.

I was thinking of purchasing the panel from online and fit it myself.

So my question is;

I have the old version panel which is the circle switches, and I have seen the new model (the touch version) on eBay that fit's Toyota Auris 1.6 2008, so if I put the new version panel in my car would it work? or it wouldn't and is it possible or they are different?

the version in my car

Many thanks,

You must replace it with the exact same panel. The automatic one uses servo motors for switching the vents, which your car does not have.

I had similar issues with switches on my old car. I took the switch apart, cleaned the contacts and once reinstalled, worked fine.

That switch is pretty basic, if nothing, i would take it apart and try my luck fixing it.
