Hybrid battery change

Hi,

I was wondering when did you have to change your hybrid Battery? I checked mine today, and Ive used half of the Battery. My car has run for 85000 km. How much can I expect to drive the car before having to change the Battery?

10-15 years before it degrades, Toyota have a flat price for exchange but there are many places that can rebuild them

If you mean the 12V Battery 5-8 years maybe up to 10

Hybrid Batteries in UK can be warranted for up to 15 years, subject to an annual check.

Some Toyota in UK have clocked up over 400,000 miles without changing the HB

What are you using to check that? Humanity has not yet invented a machine capable of telling you that.

I think the op means they have used 1/2 a Battery on their Journey according to the information on screen

OP. the car recharges the Battery when the engine is running

Technically you can work out the Battery life by calculating the cell state and in depth information generated by a HHC, Techstream can give you all the pack information that's needed, iirc one of the Prius apps also does it
