Insurance Loophole?

Recommended Posts

Having gone through several online quotes, I suddenly realised that when selecting the trim SOME insurance companies give you very brief options, ie.

N/A

GT

GT T-BAR

GT TURBO

Providing you have a T-bar turbo, whats to say you select GT T-BAR, your not lying. It's just a thought, but personally, I don't know whether it's worth the risk.

(It's also worth noting that the insurance companys that were brief in their descriptions, generally gave very high premiums anyway.)

I think when they refer to "GT TURBO" Theyre referring to all turbos, coupe or t-bar. In any case I dont think its worth the risk cos it will immediatley invalidate your policy if they find out!

yeah, lets be honest, the insurance company wont cover a MR2 turbo for the cost of a N/A... and if you read the T's&C's you'll see it states if your exact car is not available you should call for a quote!

You can get insurance that way, yeah ..

But you may as well choose a "Vauxhall Nova" to insure you car as .. it'll be as much use in the event of a claim ..
