Anybody have gearbox chatter issue on a 2015 d4d avensis?? When car is on idle there is chatter but a slight touch of clutch peddle it goes???

What you may be describing, is the clutch releasing bearing is worn. This can happen in any car, regardless of the engine type. The cause is when clutch is depressed for a long time, especially at idle. A lot of drivers have the habit of leaving the car in gear, with the clutch depressed when idling. It is not noticed once moving, so gets worse over time. The other issue is the dual mass flywheel (DMF) fitted to diesels. I don't think it is the cause of the noise, but a check by a mechanic will confirm the cause. In both cases, it's a transmission out job, so a complete clutch kit replacement, including the DMF!

Noise goes once the car has been at operating temperture!!

Any loss of clutch fluid ? when was it last bled/fluid changed
