Adding OEM parking sensors

Camry2019

Hi there, I'm proud to be the owner of a fantastic Camry 2019 advance but I was really surprised about not having all parking sensor installed for this equipment level, see the following diagram:

Only 3 in the front bumper and 6 in the back, whereas if you go with a higher equipment level (luxury) it comes with all sensors installed, I guess that as I already have the parking aid control module installed (89340A in the diagram) I might have the same wiring harness than the higher equipment level so perhaps adding the missing parking sensors is just a matter of buying them and plugin to the existing wires, does someone knows whether I'm wrong assuming that this may be that easy? I wouldn't like to have to disassemble the bumper just to check whether I can find the sensor connectors.

The dealer didn't want to help me and said that they are not doing such type of equipment changes when there is no an official kit for it, The truth is that for the back side is enough having the cam an only 2 parking sensor because at the end you have a visual reference but when you want to adjust the car in the front side it feels like a bit risky without any type of reference, considering that we're parking a huge car.

Any help would be really appreciated

I would have thought all European Camry's had full parking sensors - 4 in the front and back. What country are you located in?

I'm from Spain, only luxury equipment comes with full parking sensors here, that was a nasty surprise when I received the car. If I'm able to confirm that the wiring harness is the same then I would install missing sensors myself.

It will be a factory option as its fully integrated i doubt the plugs will be there if they are they will be tapped up to the loom inside the car

as the car is so new you will have to go to http://www.toyota-tech.eu to access the service manuals (4 euro an hour)
