Sat nav sound being intermittent

Hi peeps. Having issues with the sat nav. When my music is on (audio on) and a route programmed the sat nav voice directions work 90% of the time. However over the last couple of weeks if I don’t have my music on (audio off) the sat nav voice directions are not coming through even though the mute button on the sat nav display is un-muted. It’s driving me nuts! I have been on journeys where I’ve not had my music on and the sat nav voice directions come through fine. But at the moment this is not the case. Is there a hidden setting somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe volume of satnav voice is 0?? Just press the `volume +´ button on the moment when satnav should speak.
