Problem With Seatbelt Warning - Constantly Flashing / Beeping

Hi all,

New to using an Aygo and new to these forums.
I've a problem with my dad's 2011 Aygo that he bought private last month.

Today, whilst i was driving it the seatbelt warning system started to flash & beep even though my seatbelt was plugged in.
I unplugged my seatbelt, (drivers) put it back in and it stopped for about 20 seconds then came back on again.

If i plug in the passenger seatbelt it's still doing it and no matter how many times i plug / unplug the drivers seatbelt it continues to do it also.
I started the car and with no one sitting on any seats, it's still continuing to flash.

Any suggestions on what could be the cause, or anything i can do to narrow it down?

Many thanks.

Sounds like the switch, or the wiring to it, on the drivers seat belt buckle has an intermittent connection/problem.
