How many reverse light on Toyota Aygo

Hi,

I have just bought a Toyota Aygo x-play 5dr 2016. While testing the lights, I noticed that only one reverse light comes on (on the passenger side) and only one rear fog light comes on (on driver's side). Does the Aygo come with only 1 reverse light and rear fog light? Or is this an issue with the lights?

That is correct. Many cars have one rear foglight on the offside, with the corresponding light on the nearside being the reversing light.

Thanks for confirming. For a minute I thought the lights were not working properly.

Previous car had 2 reverse light so was a bit puzzled by the Aygo...

Seriously though, I do prefer the single wiper feature, compared with twin wipers of previous cars.

I remember years ago the yoof were removing Wiper Blades for the 'cool' single wiper look, mainly VWs iirc, how times change.

... and the you've only got one rear fog light comment - I had this a few years ago from a neighbour who we shared a drive with, he was most surprised to learn that many cars only have one rear fog light.

I’m sure most cars only have one .....

Some Nissan's have 2 reversing lights but only on the higher spec tekna models

All the other cars I've ever owned over the last 44 years have/had 2 reversing lights, only my Aygo (and previous C1) have 1.
