Replacing rear seat bench

Hey, I'm considering replacing the rear seat bench as there's an annoying hole in the fabric - was like that from previous owner. It's Hybrid Icon 2014-2017 gen.

Started looking into salvage parts, is the hybrid part same as non-hybrid?

How easy might removal and replacement be?

You remove the seat to get at the 12v and Battery pack

they can be very stiff and it does take some effort to pull it up

See this thread (towards the bottom)

Hybrid back seat is different to the "normal" back seat.

To remove it, stand facing forwards between the front seats and grip the back seat with both hands.  Pull up sharply and strongly and it will lift out of the hard nylon sockets. it helps if you remove the panels below the seat first.

This is what it looks like underneath.  You can see the hard nylon sockets either end of the forward rail.

The rear seat is unique to the Hybrid and seat from a conventional Yaris will not fit, also bear in mind there are 44 fabric variations so you will need a same trim type and similar age model for a match, also note there are two types of bench 07/2014 - 03/2017 and 03/2017- End of production and they differ in shape so you would need a earlier type seat.
