Automatic Gearbox Avensis 1.8vvt-i fix it or used part ?

Hello, got an avensis 2005 1.8vvt-i 1zz-fe 95kw 4 speed automatic close to 300k km
gearbox oil changed in 2019 with no luck, issues remained , slipping 4th gear (probably not even engaging in4) , and some shock shifting the other gears.

is this fixable or should I just swap it from parts shops? 

seems gearbox code is u341e

l.e - any ideea where to find gearbox ? I will arrange for shipping if needed

The U340/341/E was a popular transmission used on Avensis, Corolla, Celica etc.  It is easy to obtain parts for rebuild - a complete seal/rebuild kit is about £200.  You need someone with experience to do the work.

With a high-mileage 2005 car it is probably better to fit a secondhand gearbox.
