Good in the summer to do the old 'Duke of Hazzard style' jump over the door into the car seat without opening the door! (obviously with the T-tops taken out!) LOL!:lol::lol:

I've had 3 x mk2 MR2's and every one has been a T-bar model.

I find the 'Tin-Top' model completely alien to drive. It doesn't feel like the same car! I find it very claustrophobic and gloomy and would certainly never own one.

My 1990 n/a didn't leak, my 98 n/a leaked occasionally and my 94 Turbo leak's frequently.

One thing I have found recently, because my tubby is the only MR2 I've owned with air conditioning, occasionally - and this is pretty bad of me I think...

*tut* "I can't be ubikd with taking the roof off, a/c on full blast"

In my defence I hate having the roof off when the cars dirty - it just doesn't feel right.

One thing (im sure most you already know off but please bear with me ;)) is that you can buy off centre retaing holes, that the T-bar pins go into.

These basically pull the roof downa bit harder and create a better seal - my seats never been wet since (from the rain anyhow)

Heres a bit more info and the part numbers

Hope it helps :D
