It looks like it in a display test mode the trip button may have got stuck

If in doubt - Disconnect the Battery for 15 mins and let it reset

That's link to a file on your local hard drive, so it's impossible for anyone else to see it!

You need to upload the file to an image sharing website such as imgur and paste a link to it there.

you have to keep pressing the little buttons underneath that screen to get it to show mileage, but I can see the fuel level on there, presuming you have a full tank of petrol?

Posted

It should be less two bars of fuel. no matter how many times I press or hold the button it still stays on same screen.

Last time you put petrol in, how many litres did you buy?

20L

Then when I filled it the gauge showed less 2 bars from full.

Update the screen is now showing this and the button works.

FIXED, i have decided to take apart the gauge and inspect and find any problems, when i got to the main circuit board i spotted corrosion on few pins where the small screen connects to the main circuit board. i desolderd all connections for the screen took the screen off and cleaned all corrosion off then put it back together and it worked it shows the right fuel reading and also mileage.

if that happens to you you can do it yourself if you have the tools and experience or just bring the gauge to a specialist to do it for you.
