ALRIGHT GUYS...here is a pic of how my sr is looking at the moment.

alittle worse for ware i know..

before you slate the exhasut the origenal tte one rusted all the way throught so i could only aford to replace it with a kwik fit item. a rsr stubby is on the cards for that tho.

the front indicator and bumper are victems of a seventen year old not paying attention.

my 1.5 fhe eingine and six box are due to be fitted within the next couple of weeks along with

a respray in a cheeky color.

will keep you updated.

do they affect the handling much?

ive got seventeens on at the moment

people say that 17s detioriorate(sp) the handling but i dont think so.

there is definatly bags more grip than my old fifteens.

you can barrel into most corners at high speed with little understeer.

there is some slight oversteer if you push to hard tho.

i have a rear STI antiroll bar and that helped handling imensly

looking awesome geo. how much hard work is involed in taking the front spars out of the bumper???is it the sort of thing i could do or does it need a pro???what you have done is just what i wanted to do.

Did you do any arch work for the 17's i know they fit straight on coz i put my cousins on but i didnt drive anywhere with them fitted.

And like starletpower asked, how much work is there in removing the spars?

Does it weaken the bumper??

shelly im afraid i wont be down for jae this wknd...hopefully the engine and box willl be getting fitted...

Starletpower & Firthy u are best off getting the spars cut out by a goooood body shop....there is an eliment of strengthening involved otherwise boths side of the bumper will crack as i found the hard way.

the wheels went on without rubbing... the right side catched a little bit but £40 to get that roled sorted it out..i will say that they catch on the rear bumper mounts when your four up but its nothing to realy wory about considering the car is slammed 60mil

crystalise.

i have chosen the 1.5 fhe engine because of insurance reasons as my liscence isnt exactly squeaky clean with a six month ban already under my belt.

fitting it will give me a 35bhp increase along with the six speed box will make the car more than potent enough to keep up with most things moderatly nippy..

at some point mabe next year im gona get all the gubins off a 4efte like manifold, ecu and turbo to fit to my 5e with the intention of running low boost.

Ohh ok fair enough, then that would be the engine of choice, instead of using a 4EFTE or a 4AGE.

Good stuff, I believe the 4AFE and 5AFE's tho that come out the corolla they are direct bolt on turbo charger kits for them.
