Hello i have problem with my Toyota Corolla 2004 2.0 d4d 85kw. Few days ago i added 300ml fuel cleaner to my full tank and after 1/2 tank the car started shutting down on highway at 130km/h. Then it started having problems with starting. No start or start and then die right after. I have codes p0200 and p1271. But sometimes when i unlock and lock it will start normally but sometimes it will idle normally but sometimes it will die right after.

Hi,

Code p200 suggests an injector problem and /or associate wiring.

Code p1271 suggests Accelerator Pedal Position sensor or wiring.

Quiet a few Ytubes on checking the above problems.

Might just be that your cleaner has partially disturbed things, running more of it though may clear it out fully ? or try cleaning them as shown in those ytubes ...

Ah, seems P1217 is manufacturer dependant,  this post might help.

If you are not sure what to do or how , a garage might be the quicker and simpler way ..?
