Well basically spoke to the geezas at Checkpoint Windsor last night and the Red GTS Turbo Rev3 that I looked at two weeks ago is still for sale, he said he has had 6 people come to look at it but none of them have bought it!#

Do you think this means it may not be THAT good?

Refer you to link of the car again:

it actually looks alright.

Timing belt will need changed soon if not already done tho.

Apart from that, go along and have a good look at it. Take it for a good test drive also.

There are a good couple of Turbo buyers guides out there on the net. Have a look at them and a good read.

I like the deep dish rims

Another option at £4900 ono:

94 L reg, 72k miles with a mint engine. I make this claim as I have a dyno sheet with standard engine no modification, and it was dyno`d at 251.5 bhp with 233.2lbs of torque. I have since then added a Apexi induction kit and I have gutted the original cat and have had the car dyno`d again at the same RR road John Nobles Motorsport sand car has now 258.9 bhp with 246lbs of torque. If you don’t know John Nobles then they are the guys that prepare the British car Nobles engines. Car is red, it’s a hardtop, GTS with 16" alloys, It has original suspension, and I have replaced all the ARB links recently. It has a full leather interior in excellent condition. An aftermarket stereo with 6 disc changer, no other mods in interior. A few guys on list who have seen the car can vouch authenticity of car i.e Leon, Michael Canny. I would not hesistate to keep car, but I am getting married in August so would rather have the cash. I have 2 dyno sheet: one standard engine, and one with filter and gutted cat for you information. I can send at request! I also have a APEXI AVCR FITTED and a dual pump water injection kitted fitted PAUL PORTS kit with 50/50 water methanol mixture. A PAUL PORT FCD is also set at 19psi.

If Paul Port has been involved .. go for that one :)

that's not very good performance figures....

I feel better all the time knowing my baby can beat alot of other mr2s out there... lol.

Jim - you've spend a load on a uni chip .. some people are doing the tuning themselves and don't wanna go the chip method ..

Basicly all it has is exhaust & intake with a bit more boost for those figures yeah.....I'd imagine with a unichip or power fc or whatever aftermarket ecu you want it would be over 300 easy :)

Well I will prob. go for a Unichip quite soon after getting the car (mainly because I am a nutter). Where abouts is this guy based, and does it matter that the mileage is 23000 more, plus is it a rev3 and has it had the cambelt done, and does it have full service history <--- all things the other one does have!

I've actually seen that car at a show last year.

It's mint! The geezer is a member on the IMOC site. He's had the car quite a while I believe. Worth a look init? :)

the place i got mine in ilford had a red rev3 hardtop in last time i was there, might be worth a look

got them to change my cambelt in the service before i picked it up as part of the deal

Does look pretty nict actually, But not sure it is worth £6k.

Ideally I want a GT rather than a GTS just for the interior really.

So how do I get the contact details etc for the one above for £4900
