Does having extras fitted to the car affect the warranty at all, for example having a sports exahust fitted?

Thanks

I think it does, unless you have it done by Toyota with approved parts.

it voids the warranty for everything that could be related to that part... thats why TTE has extensive parts list for your Toyota...

Hi guys

Dont worry about it jake. When your car goes into service remove the induction kit and fit the old box in it's place. That way they cant say that there is something wrong with the mass air sensor :D

But saying that my dealer told me that the warranty wouldn't be affected if i fitted a induction kit as it improves the cars performance?? It funny how different car garages say different things.

Jerry, problem is that service centers dont approve your warranty request - Toyota GB does.. so I bet they have a list of things that are a definitive no

You need to add crud to the air filter also - as I think Toyota teechnicians can tell the difference between a used air filter and one thats sat in your garage all year!
