and also some of these damp collection bags placed next to the hybrid battery in case any moisture locks in near. Hybrid battery does usually fail from moisture damage.

Yes.

Stand facing forwards in the middle, and grip the front of the seat and tug hard.  Really hard.  It'll lift with a big tug. The lugs on the seat mate with the white nylon slots on the frame.

It's maybe best if you remove the plastic covers of the front of the seat but it's a bit fiddly to take out the rivet thingies.  Refitting the rivets is fiddly too.
