Aygo Rear Bumper

I have a Toyota Aygo x-play 5dr 2016. Does anyone know what the rear bumper is made of? Is it plastic? I have a couple small but fairly deep chips on it. Should I be worried about rust?

I'm fairly certain that it's a large piece of plastic, so rust will not be an issue as long as it's only on the rear bumper. However, the paint / clearcoat coming off could still pose an issue.

yes its all plastic, but in the grand scheme of things, cars can inadvertently get chips from just mileage and age. You could try filling them in and painting over with the colour code paint.

Great. Will try painting over 🙂 Glad I don't have to worry about rust
