This may be of interest to members. Certainly worth a read if you have a car which uses unleaded fuel. Remember the issues when they stopped 4 star fuel!  Hope the link works.

No formal date yet for the introduction of E10 unleaded in the UK. From 2011, all new cars sold in the UK had to be E10 compatible. Some European countries already have E10 - Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, The Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Slovakia.

Most cars are compatible, and Toyota released the following information back in 2018:

E10 petrol is cleared for use in all Toyota European petrol models made from January 1998, excluding:

1. Avensis 2.0 L with engine 1AZ-FSE made between July 2000 and October 2008.

2. Avensis 2.4 L with engine 2AZ-FSE made between June 2003 and October 2008.
