Replacement of dashboard warning light

I have a 2002 Yaris Verso which is low mileage and has given very good service despite its age. It has the digital-type dashboard pod. Recently the warning light has failed for car lights being on. My local independent garage has intimated they may need a full day (and consequent cost) to disassemble the dash in order to change the bulb. Can anyone give me a better idea how easy it is to get inside the dash and whether the bulbs are readily available ? Thanks in advance

I think it's just a case of pulling the binnacle off to access the digital dash, from memory a 5 or 10 minute job (assuming it's the same as the Yaris).
