Clingfilm Yes Or No

Is it a good idea to put clingfilm on the bonnet for the ride down to JAE, does it work or will it melt and stick.

I was seriously thinking of getting a car bar or failing that using one of my own but it is a bit to late for all that.

Drive in reverse...Problem solved - no stone chips on Front bumper

Bibbs will the heat cook/melt the clingfilm on to my bonnet.

So I take it clingfilm is a no no.

I would go with card board or bubble wrap for ultimate protection.

When a car is delivered it has plastic film on the panels while on the transporters, bonnet included, I think cling film would be too thin to be any good.

There must be some sort of plastic film with a slight adhesive quality on one side to apply to bonnets etc, a bit like some kinds of window stickers you can get that don’t leave any residue behind when removed.

a roll of bubble wrap ..

tape it to the underside of yer bumper and cut holes for your lights and plate/intake - roll it up and over the front and tape it below the window ..

Masking tape ?? then what if it rains or I drive really fast ? Don't want it flying off anf blinding the poor driver behind me.
