Ordered Lowering Springs!

 Just ordered lowering springs for my Cts and booked it in for fitting 09th Aug. Couldn't wait any longer to get it done, having read the difference it makes to both looks and handling.

They say it's 4 hours labour to fit, anyone know how long they were charged for?

Had to change my insurance over, which was a bit of a ball ache, but sure it'll be worth it.

Just can't wait to see and feel the results now.

wich ones you got?

tte?

TTE, 30mm jobs. Just wish my local dealer wasn't so busy 'cos they'll arrive tommorow, but couldn't get booked in for ages.

I just blasted through some country lanes on the way home from work and I can tell you those 30mm TTE springs make a difference.I just wonder if 17 inch wheels will improve the handling even more.

My Corolla T-Sport is sat on 18" alloy's. Would i be able to fit the TTE 30mm lowering springs and keep the alloys???

Not sure about that 'cos my wheels are just stock.

I guess it may depend on whether the diameter of the wheel has remained the same overall and how wide they are.

BTW, what wheel and tyre combo you gone for?

Whey hey, just got mine lowered today at the dealer... the ride felt slightly stiffer and also the response and feeling in return is much better than the stocks... I'm just wondering if anyone of you've got some squeaky sounds after installing???

 Nice one. How long did they take and how much did they charge altogether if you don't mind me asking.

it should be no more than 1 hour per side labour any thing more is taking the urine.

I got them through a toyota dealer who charged me £320 for parts and labour and VAT.... I think I've seen somewhere in the forum that it costs around £275 to have them fitted at the dealer, but I'm assuming they haven't included VAT...

Besides, if you're with Toyota insurance, thay can't be bothered with this mod and so no extras for the cover..... that's really cool....
