Hilux surf gen 3 gearbox fault loses driv

Hi  have  toyota hilux surf gen  3   gearbox  fault  when it warms up  lose  all drive   and still happens  after having a recon  box   help please

Check the oil level I assume it’s an auto how long have you had the recon box fitted if recently should be under some sort of warranty.

All has  been  checked  been lookin online  could  be  a gearbox  solenoid   or  ecu    truck  has only done  121 k

Is it 4wd ?? What colour is the fluid has it ever had a filter and full fluid power flush

Yea it is  and do you mean the pan filter would have hoped the changed when they fitted the gearbox   told them what ever it need do it

Are there any codes stored on the TCM ? Does the car change from 2wd to 4wd ok ?
