Tyre Pressure

Just a quickie this! Any body know the correct tyre pressure for a gen 7 190 with 215/40/17 tyres ? Bought the car with this size and can only seem to find the pressure for the standard 16s.

stick to what maufacturer says , big wheels or small wheels , pressure supposed to remain the same.i'd go for 30 all round for 2 people, 30 and 32 underload

If I remember rightly, I think they were 32 when I had mine (with 17" alloys)

I remeber this one from an old post on here, by all accounts it's the cars weight that determines the tyre pressure not the tyre/wheel size, so the standard pressures should apply.

Definitely not the case...

My Celica had the dynamic pack (which included the 17" alloys), and there was a little sticker over the original sticker especially for 17" wheels.

i'm with chocka on this 1 my old 15's were 35 all round with 4 peeps ,

32 and 35 with 2 peeps. with my 17's i just opt for 30 all round.

Ah yes, I agree with that.

What I meant was, that 17" wheels won't have the same tyre pressures as 15" wheels (assuming that there's the same people load etc).

Thanks for all the advice everyone gona check pressures first chance I get now I know what it should be!
