Carina E estate 1996 going for a song

... but is it any use to anyone? 

I've nursed this perfect 1996 car along, but now I'm calling time. Not really looking much money for it (just match the scrap value of £173.00), but that might still not be enough to interest anyone as the car is in Belfast, N.Ireland.  MOT runs out on April 11. It starts on the turn of the key, every time, and takes me to work mon-fri. Over the last year it has developed a fault/engine miss. IMPORTANT - I am not trying to repair the car. The issue might be one of fuel supply, and causes low power/stuttering in certain rev ranges - but I am not a mechanic and do not know for sure. New HT leads solved certain aspects of the poor running. I've fitted two blue fuel injectors during the past year, without improvement. The 3yr-old pattern rear exhaust box needs replaced (the rest of the exhaust is original). There are no warning lights on the dash. Three of the four tyres would need replaced soon. Mileage is 168000. The security alarm does not operate. The doors do not lock. The engine oil has always been replaced at 10,000 mile intervals. Does anyone want it for parts? If this is not the correct part of the website for such a post, I will repost elsewhere.

Is this a diesel or petrol?

Apologies, I should have given the full spec. It is a 1.6l petrol. Engine is the 4A-FE. Carina E GS Estate.
