Listening non traffic announcement and still having them?

I have a 2004 toyota corolla and reasently got one of those bluetooth to fm radio things. I would want to hear the traffic announcements when I'm driving and listening music from my phone. The owner manual says that it would automatically change between programming if there's a traffic announcement implying that this would change radio station for the traffic announcements because there's a sepret instructions for CD/casette.

When I enable TA it changes to a channel that provides traffic announcement, but when I change back to the original channel it starts the search again.

Is it even possible to do this or is this only a bad translation in the manual?
