Can someone tell me the correct gasket/crush washer  size for 1.6 1st gen?

I see too many choices, so i don't want to get stuck with having to reuse the old one, because i bought a wrong one.

Hi,

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383354345323

that’s what you need but you can find cheaper options. Some oil filters comes with this gasket too and if your old one it’s not been crushed you can use 2-3 times before really needs changing just make sure do with 35Nm torque +2 Nm each time if you reuse old one.
I am going to my store soon and will measure one to give you exact sizes. 👍

I use M12 red fibre washers. I bought them cheaply on eBay a few years ago, still have some. Before that, I bought a few from hardware stores. The dimensions are outside diameter 23 - 24mm, inside diameter 12 -13 mm, thickness 1.5mm, measuring an old and new washer in my possession.

Used them on my '98 Avensis leanburn and currently on my '09 Valvematic, every oil change.

I paid £2.95 for a pack of 25 M12 washers back in 2019, and since used them on my car and my brothers Nissan Micra. So still have a lot. Never had a leak.

It's not really worthwhile for me to buy them off eBay, considering the price, cheaper to get them locally.

Thanks to the measurements, i managed to find what i needed.

Bought a couple of FEBI BILSTEIN, part number 30263. Aluminium sandwiched in between 2 layers of paper, or some kind of fibre material.

They were 50c a piece here. Hopefully the info will be useful to someone else, so i added the part numbers.
