slider pins

had to replace the slider pins on the front  front of my rav4,

one of the pins has a black rubber on the bottom of the pin,

where does this on go ,ie top or bottom of caliper,took them of without 

paying attention to where they fit back,

Hi,

Easily done, been told the rubber should be on the "trailing" pin.
