Catalytic thefts good news

Like I have said before, of lot of these cat thefts, whilst carried out by local scroats who earn a few quid, are actually run by gangs who send the cat's abroad. It is a lot easier to transport a used Cat than it is to move drugs or guns, the cash earned is rather lucrative too

They were tipped off. Only 1 of the 8 houses was occupied. The fact that the containers were going to ivory coast shows you how big this is

I've had a Catloc and tilt sensor fitted. Not much else you can do really

Could I ask where you've got a tilt sensor from?

I've got an appointment with Halfords to install the Blackvue cameras, and a Battery so it's constantly recording. Their installation price is pretty reasonable imo. I've got it on 0% finance so it's a bit less hurtful to the pocket!

I'd hope that west Yorkshire police would do something too tbh, especially as a load of them have affected Leeds and Manchester.

In Leeds and Manchester, I've noticed that they've avoided the less well off areas, so that's something to consider ie: maybe you're actually better off in a higher crime area ironically

I'm getting the tilt sensor from a Toyota dealer. It's £100 inc fitting

That's not bad tbf. I might go to another one though given RRG Silsden tried to charge

£600 for a Catloc

£400 for a new Toyota key when it just needed reprogramming.
