CVT Gear Box

My Toyota Verso 1.8 2009 CVT (Reg:M888CLL) has started to make loud whining/clicking noises from the cvt gearbox.

Had it checked out, both garages said need new gearbox or overhaul.

Could someone provide me with the exact gearbox model I require and any advise on the best way to fixing this problem.

My options are an expensive overhaul or get a second hand one installed.

I can't do it from the reg as it's a private plate

going off your profile it will be a K311 30400-20020 (02/2009 - 07/2010) don't forget you will need a new torque converter as well, even with a used box you're looking to do a filter and fluid change as a bare minimum what's nearly £100 before you know if its any good
