I doubt it, a standard cat goes for £60 scrap, most places legit places will not touch a cat unless you have proof of where it comes from

in the last 2 months scrap prices have dropped majorly  platinum is about £1.30 an ounce, palladium is £65 an ounce after its processed

Rhodium is still pants-on-head-stupid high tho', and that's what they're after.

I always laugh when I hear of a diesel cat getting nicked as they don't have any rhodium in them; Clearly the mark of an idiot who didn't do their research. All they'll get from that is a dose of black lung  

Hmm... maybe I should stick some TDI and D4D stickers on the car...

It may be on a slight decline with more ppl putting catlock in place. Also think it's may not make the news often since other things are going on this year. Nice to read they got caught, or those one who carry weapons in the car.
