BVA6 Oil Changing

Hello Everyone,
Two weeks ago i bought a toyota avensis II 2009 2.2 D-Cat, BVA6. The owner told me that we don't change the oil on this transmission.

I just want be sure that he was saying the truth before getting into problems.

what do you guys think ?

What gear box ? 11/2008 onwards makes it a T27 Avensis unless it's a verso, also the 2.2 were manual only, the 2ADfhv 2.2 come in auto (T271)

Edit. The 2.2 uses the U660E CVT, fluid and filter change depends on the use, 80-100k miles, some places quote under 50k miles
