In Need Of Help Please

Hi guys I did a oil change on my 2016 1.6 diesel but I am having trouble resetting the oil maintenance light on dash. The dash was showing a spanner and 70km over the scheduled distance when I done the oil change.

I followed the procedure of turn the ignition switch to the “On” position, but do not start the engine. ... Hit the odometer button until you see “ODO” Next, turn the ignition “off” Press and hold the Trip Odometer Reset button, and turn the ignition switch to the “On” position

This did not work for me as the little spanner and the -70 km covers where the odo is displayed when the ignition is turned on so thats why I cant perform it. Please help as it will be much appreciated.
