hello boys and girls

what oill would be the best to use in a yaris t sport and how often would you have to change it

i was told that to keep the car running smooth change the oil every 3000 miles is this true

Depends how well off for chash you are? If you can afford to change it every 3k miles then it can only be a bonus, but the manufactures 10k wont do it any harm either.

OIL Frequency.

I've been wondering the same thing as I've just put my T-Sport in for it's first 10,000 miles survey. This will cost around £80. and all they do is change the oil and filter, and give the car a once over!!!

I'm having them look at the doors as well for the common Yaris Rattle...although they say it's news to them!!

I've already changed the oil myself @5000 miles, and do belive that it should be more frequent than 10,000 miles..

sure Newer cars run cleaner and more efficient and the oil does last longer. As the car ages,

the oil will require changing more often, to basically get the crap out..so why wait till the

crap builds up... nice clean oil will do wonders.

Toyota are sticking in Helix Grade 10-40 I belive.

They don't even change the airfilter...this is at 20,000 again....they don't cost much...I'd rather change it now to be honest!!

Sure Newer cars run cleaner and more efficient and the oil does last longer if it's changed earlier as well, it's not burnt and easier to recycle....Better all round.
