Gen 4 Prius Excel- using Toyota built in sat nav.

I set Home correctly nearly 3 years ago, BUT somehow an unexplained movement of my digits (fingers) has reset Home to about 8 miles away.  How do I reset to the correct location??????

I have played about with the buttons but cannot fathom how to reset Home.

Done that John.

shows how to set, but not reset it.  Following the set guide doesn’t help.

Can you not set the postcode then house number then set that as home I assume it’s the same nav unit as I had in the 2015 auris can’t remember how to do it though.

Only thing I will say though unlikely that if the car gets nicked they can find your home address!

Hi Christopher, I will give that a go tommorow, but more then likely I had a go today.

Thing is, the day it went wrong, I was driving down a road wirh speed bumps, and was punching touch buttons at the time of a bump... and thats how it set to the wrong address.

I have been thinking about the sensibility of doing that, problem is I going to have to find how to reset “home” all over again.

What, start again as May 13th.

I posted in the Prius club, as I have a Prius, but obviously it mustnot have been seen by many, but tell you what John, I glad I got a Prius and not a Corolla hybrid - what with all the niggles owners seem to be having.
