Never fails to amaze me what a set of decent alloys and a lowering kit can do for a car. Tidy mate!:thumbsup:

The wheels look really awesome  , too awesome for the corolla in fact. Would look much better with skirts!

Cheers guys.

As I'm sure you can guess, I'm well pleasedwith the results. Will take another picture as the above doesn't really do it justice, especially since I was out there 2 hours today cleaning it. ;)

Next mods I want to do is increase performance. Any recommendations?

Hi spoonwzd

Thats one fine looking car you have there mate. Love the wheels they are really a fine match to your car  For performance mods i recommend that you checkout envy performance. Just click onto the link at the top of the page

Grr. Angry with myself now.

Just popped over to a mate's house, thinking all the time on the way over "Nasty curbs there, be careful"

You guessed it. Curbed one of my new rims a bit.

:ffs:

Is there a way to fix it myself? If i took some sandpaper to the damage could I fix it? Advice urgent!

:censor: :ffs: :crybaby:

Gonna have to get it fixed. AND be increasingly more careful.

rims look sweeet, nice one pal

Very nice mate but I would rather abandon it out in the middle of the road than risk kerbin it!

In response 2 performance mods, an induction kit and a cat-back exhaust should free up some bhp!

Cheers

Yeah, lesson learned regarding curbs. It REALLY hurt when I did it. Still licking my wounds.

What do those mods actually do? And what's a cat-back exhaust?

Posted

The induction kit sucks in more air givin more power and will make a sweet noise! And a cat-back exhaust system is an exhaust which goes from ur catalytic convertor rite 2 the back of ur car or the cheaper option would be just a back-box of an exhaust!

Cheers

OK cool, nice one. I'll look into it!

You've got the same alloys as Me!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yeah, the alloys are soo sweet. Getting lots of looks now from others driving around with modded cars! :)

In regards to my scuffed alloy, I've found a local place who will fix it for 50 quid plus the vat. It's booked in for Thursday. They're also going to touch up all the paintwork for me for 25 quid. Bargain IMHO.

After this, I'm parking in the middle of the road!

On Friday I get the cables for the radar detector and TomTom SatNav stashed neatly behing the dash too, so come the weekend it should all be perfect and better than new!

I get a lot of looks off other drivers too. You can see them trying to figure out what sort of car it is. They see the T-Sport Badge and just don't get it. The CTS really is a WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING.
