OK, so I have had a look on the online manual, searched under sensors, windshield, and windshield sensors ..

What are the boxes on the windscreen for, I realise they are covers over auto screen wipers, light sensors etc but which is which? I am particulary interested in the long thin one to the left of the internal mirror, the one with air vents around it.

it's the sensor and camera (usually heated) for the safety sense (or what ever Toyota are calling it now) depending on the setup is may have the light sensor or refraction sensor (auto wipers) up there too
