Guys,

I want to put a BOV on my rev 1 and also fit a chip. I've been told there are a couple of chips to look at buying:

Superchips

Unichip

EvoChip

Which one?

Unichip can be remapped over n over again should you wish to add mods after your initial mapping session. Initial cost is fairly high (around £500 i think) but it pays for itself in the end, jimlad and a few others have had it for a while. Generally Unichips go very well with MR2s unlike some other cars. The other chips can only be mapped once n youre stuck with its settings

Ahah!

I priced the Superchips, and it was £511, so the Unichip seems to be the better of the three.

Thanks for that mate. Question answered.

No problemo, im sure Jimlad will chip in once he gets back from JAE and has recovered from any alcohol aftereffects :D

Gutted I couldn't get there. :(

S'pose I'll have to make a concerted effort to go to MR2004 instead. :D

I've more or less decided to go with the UniChip.

Q. Where do I go to get it fitted and mapped????
