Passenger electric window not working

I have a 14 plate ago the passenger window has suddenly stopped working. I tried the drivers side switch on the passenger side and it worked.  Am confused as what and how to test next, any ideas please

pop the switch apart, it may just be a bit of crud in the contacts

Its common for the regulator or motor to play up, this puts higher current through the switch and burns it out so you may end up with the same issue

As flash22 says, probably oxidized contacts or crud due to lack of use. Before you take it apart, try operating the switch a few dozen times with the ignition off. Then give it a go with the ignition on. If no joy, then take apart like flash22 mentions.
