Thanks for reading this. Doing a coolant change and wondering how much coolant should I expect to drain through the radiator drain plug so that I have enough fresh coolant to do the refill.
thank you

210,000 miles. It’s well over due new coolant. I have a few litres of Toyota long life coolant but what I’m wondering will most of the 7 litres capacity drain out or just the few litres in radiator.

Ok job done. About 4-4.5 litres of coolant drained out, it was in good enough condition but good to get some fresh coolant in. Make sure to squeeze the radiator hoses a few times after filling to get rid of air and top up accordingly. I used Toyota pink coolant.

I don't have this engine, but there is supposed to be a drain plug on the engine block close to the bulkhead.
